Saddam can't sit around and let a build-up take place like he did in Gulf War part une.

The only "hope" he has is to throw everything at Kuwait, and just maybe catch us off guard - forcing us to pull out temporarily. It wouldn't take long to bomb them to hell, though, then roll right back in - all the way to Bagdad. He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't, at this point. I betcha he goes for the "Hail Allah".

If he wants to be in a strong position, he cannot afford to stop at Kuwait. He must get to Saudi Arabia. Once in control of the oil fields of both Kuwait and Saudi, he would be in such a strong position, especially if he threatened to Nuke em all, if attacked.

It took 3 months to build up the force last time, in 3 months he would have changed the state of Israel into a Palistinian State.

He would be bordered by Iran and Yemen, really no place for the US and her allies to look for a land base. Then there is Turkey, but the chances of being trapped by the Iranians while attacking Saddam's Armies in Saudi would leave everyone in a quandriey.

Imagine, Oil prices through the roof, the Stock Market would crash though the floor, the world economy, would grind to a halt.

As we see once again in the world, "Talk is Cheap". If we (governments) are going to sit around talking about it, men of action are going to rape and conquer, just has they have always done in history.

"There is a time for Talking and a time for WAR"
