Methinks that the natives in South Africa are not swift enough to make the second-order connection. South Africa is on its way to becoming a third-world country. My guess is that 10 years is all it will take.

You mean fourth world; SA reached third world status some time ago. When everything totally breaks down, the UN and/or US troops will be called in to clean up some of the mess, by which time I calculate that we will be paying for maintaining troops in just about every region on earth, except perhaps southern South America and Australia.
