Sickening? Certainly, to anyone with a milligram of compassion. Sick? I doubt it. Why has that wonderful word, "EVIL" disappeared from the English language? Are we so afraid of being considered "judgemental", that we've forgotten how to call things by their right name? Let's try that again:
What an evil bastard!
Don't know about you, but I think that's a bit more accurate.
Pedantically yours,
AB
If the bastard is sick, there's definitely no cure.
If the bastard is evil, there's no rehabilitation.
Either way, the guy deserves the death penalty - which I'm usually against, because I think death is preferable to serving time in prison (*). However, in this case, I'll make an exception. A nice and slow, painful and torturous death would be just the thing.
How could you possible call it cruel and unusual punishment? IMO, it would be a just and appropriate punishment.
(*) In other words, I think serving time in prison would be worse than being put to death. That's why I'm usually against the death penalty (because death is the easy way out, while serving time in prison would be hard. At least it would be for me.)
