HENRYETTA - More that two weeks after police first heard allegations of an 8-month-old baby being raped, authorities hope they may soon solve the case.
Evidence from a rape kit is being analyzed at an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation laboratory, agency spokeswoman Kym Koch said Monday.
"We don't know how much information we'll get from that now", Koch said.
The case involves a sexual assault in which the baby girl's pelvis, ankley and palate were broken. The child was hospitalized and treater for her injuries and since has been released.
The investigation has widened to multiple suspects, she said.
