If every member of congress who ever got a free driveway or similar went to jail, most of them would be wearing orange jumpsuits.
Anyway, what is the difference between a free driveway worth $5,000 and a free junket vacation including limo service to a private jet etc, all expenses included (hotel, golf, gourmet meals for all) worth $50,000? How about when you get these "lifestyles of the rich and famous" free vacations monthly?
One is legal, one is not, which is more corrupting? When you get the driveway, it's yours, and can't be taken back. When you get on the luxury vacation junket list, you are dropped from the gravy train if you vote the wrong way.
