I never did hear what kind of cancer he had. Given how fast he went--besides rotting from the inside--I'd suspect pancreatic cancer, but it could've been anything. But Pierce does disprove the theory that one is too mean to die. I'd put Richard Butler of the Aryan Nations West on my my next-to-die list. He's older than dirt and has had some heart problems.
