Too bad, because this is interesting stuff, on several different levels. On the most superficial level, the idea that our "stone of love" is actually obtained through slavery and other chicanery....

I also find it interesting that some of the 'greatest leaders' of the so-called "party of Compassion" have built their fortunes on keeping entire countries downtrodden.

The entire picture is rather complicated, and I'll admit that I don't have a lot of time to spend on this today, LL, but I hope those who read your article and comment on it will actually address the facts you've posted, rather than hurling invective your way.

But, you must use the tactic of attacking a poster's position based on what allegedly posted on other boards, under a different user-name which may or may not even be that poster. DeBeers can't operate in America because of our anti-trust laws. But DeBeers and Tempelsman seem to be one and the same.

Interesting facts on DeBeers and Tempelsman. The diamond cartel operates on greed, oppression of 3rd world countries with the help of the countries' tinpot dictators and distain for the ultimate buyers, the consumers.

Pointing this out is not anti-Semitism as greed is greed and corruption is corruption, no matter what the religion of some of those involved. Advertising has made brides believe a diamond is a symbol of love. Maybe so, but what happens on the way to the bride is far from love. Also, don't kid yourself it's an investment as you get 10 cents on the dollar when trying to sell it back to the jeweler.

I dunno, I have yet to see any refutation of what was posted, just questioning of the poster's integrity and intentions. A valid response, perhaps, depending on the poster's history, but to me this threads articles are intriguing and raise questions. Can they be disproven, or is it just that some don't like the poster? I see nothing anti-semitic in these articles here. If Bill Clinton admitted Robert Rubin really was a crook, I'd still believe that Rubin was a crook. So are the points and representations in these articles fact or fiction?
