Doctors are being put in a bind. You can't pay $80,000 per year in insurance, yet be reimbursed for services at a level set by the government, which may not even cover their out-of-pocket expenses.

It varies widely by specialty, and it's causing distortions like this in the way health care is delivered to Americans.
