Why is Fahd king and Abdullah crown prince, since Abdullah is the older?

Are we supposed to show sympathy for these people? If they don't like the consequences of their life style they can go somewhere else. Their choice.

There is a solution:
The Americans shall make the Saudis an offer they can't refuse:
There shall be a massive strengthening of the power and presence of the American Praetorian Guard in Saudi Arabia, and it will guarantee the stability of the throne. Also, the Americans will use their expertise to operate the oil fields at no extra charge.
In return, the Americans will be given permanent military bases in the kingdom, and the Saudi Royal Family will convert to Christianity.
Are there any other problems that need solving?

Let them rot in Arab jails.

Why is Fahd king and Abdullah crown prince, since Abdullah is the older? The Saudis don't have a Law of Succession in the same way the Brits do.
The country is like a family business and the offices and profits are split up according to internal family power struggles.
For instance, a brother usually inherits, rather than a son.

I mean really. You can make money, get laid, and drink yourself blind in quite a few other countries where the population doesn't necesssarily want to kill you.
Stop whining, use your head, and leave.

Ah. Thanks.

In return, the Americans will be given permanent military bases in the kingdom, and the Saudi Royal Family will convert to Christianity I really don't think they would have a great deal of difficulty refusing that offer

Abdullah is a fundi nutjob back in the day that wasn't the fad. It is now.

Soon time to bring the seat of Islam down.
After Iraq............Saudi.....?
No mercy. No surrender.

You are not real good at understanding the overall problem are you? The lifestyles or what ever of these expats is but an excuse to start a revolt.

Twice in recent months he has been attacked by passers-by angry at the sight of a Western face outside the safe residential compounds. If this were the other way around, it would be front-page news for at least half of the world's newspapers.
In this case I agree with the Islamists: Westerners need to leave Saudi. Now.
This of course includes all Western money, too.

The Saudis are going down. The plan ought to be partition into a bunch of Emirates. Qattar and Bahrain are liberalizing and democratizing. A centralized government based on the absurd Saudi Royal Family is reaching its end. The West made Saudi Arabia and will break it.

Think about it.

Saudi is on it's way out. When the war heats up, we should set their oil fields on fire and reconstruct Mecca as a parking lot.

I want that little rock they keep in the tent. It can be the finishing touch on my new barbeque pit out back.
There is no barbeque but pork, and Bessinger's is it's sauce.
To: Taylor42
No. We can use that oil.
