Look, this whole discussion has eroded into a schoolyard pissing match. I am now rehashing the same arguments that took place 300 posts ago in this same thread, but with different people. Talk about tiresome. I will return to this topic when A. the courts rule on Lahr's FOIA lawsuit B. A panel of engineers with the qualifications of the NTSB, Boeing, ALPA etc. reinvestigate the incident using all the tools at their disposal and come up with a different conclusion, or C. Hell freezes over, which is about as likely as B.
John, good luck with your book. I can't wait to read it. Make sure you source all your claims.
