This morning, President Bush, joined by firefighters and police officers, emergency personnel and local public officials, addressed members of Congress in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Office Buiding at the White House on the subject of the Homeland Security Department, stressing the need for managerial flexibility as a key to it's success. This afternoon in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House, he honored the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, calling on Congress to fund his New Freedom Initiative budget requests.

Last night House and Senate negotiators agreed on a bill that would give President Bush fast tracked trade promotion authority, and this afternoon, he made a trip to Capitol Hill to thank them, and to urge House Republicans to back the bill. Enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Bless you, Kaslin, for the tip on emsart, and the same thing for the person who mentioned flamingtext.com. I just signed up for both and am a happy customer at both sites. I do web pages for two Christian ministries and this is going to help a ton!

That's ironic, because my dad is a Democrat, and he can't stand Dashle and Gephart anymore! Of course, he is a DINO anyway. He is more Independant leaning to Republican now. He's a big supporter of Bush/Cheney, their cabinet, and many Congressional Repubs. now. Oh, he'll still support a Democrat once in awhile, if he feels they are conservative, and honest, mostly local ones.

Thank you. It's a labor of love.

One is for a friend who is a missionary in Eastern Europe right now, and about to send me the info for her latest update, so this is especially timely.

The other one is for a prison ministry, writing to Christian inmates (and actually any inmate who is or isn't saved but wants to write to a Christian correspondent). The non-inmates' addresses and last names are not known to the inmates and all correspondene is sent through a clearinghouse to keep everyone's ID confidential. We desperately and always need correspondents -- we always have a long list of inmates waiting for someone to write to them. If anyone is interested, please FReepmail me! It's a wonderful way to fulfill the Great Commission and Jesus' pleasure, "I was in prison, and you visited Me. ... He who has done it to the least of these has done it unto Me."

Oh your just a warm-hearted soul, God bless your heart! If I had a way, I would give to more causes like that, too! But I do what I can. Just don't change. I think God somehow rewards us for giving out of our hearts in ways we don't perceive at first.
