your idea is a very valid one, and you probably do not know how it parallels the work of karl marx.let's take a look.

fact: life is unfair and people, while created in the likeness of god, have different lots in life. st. paul acknowledged as much and tells us to be content whatever our circumstances, whether as slave or master.

communist belief: the inequality in life is not man's fault since he is created in god's likeness. it therefore must be a problem with society. so society must be changes to create a fairness for all.

unfortunately, this is biblically wrong. there is inequality because of sin, and sin is the direct result of man's disobedience. man is at fault and has to live with the consequences of his actions. communism is a theologically incorrect, and hence inherently flawed, form of society.

i could go further and preach about the parable of the talents that further demonstrates that capital is to be utilized to creat wealth, but enough religion for one night.

Actually, the sole test for authentic Christianity is whether one does God's will. One must have His Spirit to know His will. Authentic Christianity is dynamic; it is a living thing.

Nevertheless, authentic Christianity manifests itself in certain intelligible and consistent ways. As James said, "true religion and undefiled before God is this: to visit widows and orphans in their affliction and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." Authentic Christians embrace this living altruism, and they embrace it quietly and without fanfare as the Holy Spirit guides them. There is no waste when the Holy Spirit directs the ministering. The gift is always perfectly appropriate to the place, person, and time.

The authentic Christian also yearns for the millennial rule of Jesus Christ who promised a peace "not as the world giveth" but a true and permanent peace in which people would experience joy--not mere transient pleasure.

These yearnings resound deeply in souls of many if not most people regardless of religious affiliation or even a belief in God. I believe we have those yearnings because our Creator programmed them into us, to draw us to Him.

Marx sought to capitalize on these yearnings while denying their source in God. He offered a human-designed atheistic society to fulfill them. His was a diablolical counterfeit that could never have succeeded. Instead, it was the cause of unparalleled misery and mass murder.

Today's liberalism is a pale and insipid version of full-blooded Marxism. It still kills and creates widespread misery, but more slowly and without nearly the fireworks.

On the other side we have atheist libertarians who champion selfishness as the greatest virtue, who despise and reject altruism as an irrational absurdity without distinguishing between the living altruism of the Holy Spirit (to which they are deaf, dumb, and blind) and the dead government-enforced counterfeit altruism of the liberals and Marxists. Their "solution" is just as evil as the Marxists' but they have not yet had an opportunity to fully implement it on a national scale. If they ever do, the deaths and misery they will loose on humanity will rival that of the Marxists.

For the atheist libertarians, Ayn Rand's mental mastications imply a society just as wicked and dangerous as that proposed by Karl Marx.

Authentic Christians (and orthodox believing Jews) are caught in the middle and will suffer first. They always have and they always will.
