No, the word is not "choose." The word IS license. And morality is not subjective. Something IS either right or wrong. Moral relativism is what's behind the general decay of our society. Of course one can "choose" to do what is moral, or good, or to do what is immoral, or evil.

Morality is a "choice" and should be a "choice"? And you say MY statements "beggar good sense"??? My statements are not my *opinion* but are basic, sound and well-known (to the educated) philosophical Truths. So if this scum didn't KILL her whatever he chose to do to her would have been OK because that was his view of a "moral" universe???

I don't care what the "Meese Commission" says, either. They all probably have their own stash of pornography. Ask Ted Bundy what his porno addiction did for him. Ask any such perp - they ALL were addicted to porno. And I can attest personally to what porno did to someone I know very well. "Meese Commision". Who gives a rat's butt.

True, who gives a rat's butt as long as you feel good about choosing the "right" morality. No, bubba, morality is surely objective to the point where other people are involved in your actions. One may NEVER initiate an act that will bring such harm as this to another person, period. After that, morality is subjective, depending on a person's upbringing and culture. And a moral code must, after the exception noted above, be voluntarily accepted by its adherent. I suspect you call yourself a Christian... Did not Christ say that people had to VOLUNTARILY accept Him and His gift of Life? So with the moral code of Christ. If it is shoved down someone's throat it will sooner or later be violently regurgitated with awful consequences. Yes, morality is a CHOICE... One CHOOSES to live a moral and upright life. Else one is a gooberment controlled robot with no self-discipline or self-control and no thought for any consequences of his or her actions.
