Just across the Gulf of Aden from Saudi Arabia lies Somalia. The Bakara Market in Mogadishu is little more than a bargain bazaar for every kind of small arms in the world. You can buy an AK-47 -- fully select-fire -- for as little as $75.

And they want us to believe that terrorists are buying semi-auto AK-47s at gun shows. The ones I have seen at gun shows were selling for five to seven hundred.

McCainiac was on Savage this afternoon, and was talking about "supporting the 2nd Amendment" in one breath, then about "terrorists and criminals getting guns without background checks at gun shows" in the next. Major Bravo Sierra.

One could almost believe that their linkage of guns and terrorism had some ulterior motive not connected with the highest calling of journalism.

But that would make them two-bit propagandists, not the highly trained societal watchdogs we know them to be.

Well, I've never seen a true, ie., select-fire AK-47 at any gun show. The semi-auto only Maadis and MAK-90s I've seen at shows run from $400-700, true. But let's not give the McCain types anything to go on. Most gun shows do not sell full-auto weapons like the real AK-47. Sorry 'bout my being a stickler.
