I got a kick out of him explaining getting pulled over by the cops at 2:30am Saturday/Sunday morning with a .001 blood alcohol reading (= 1 beer). Said the FBI put the cops up to it looking for a DUI. Traficant pointed out that
his car window didn't work and he had to open the door to speak with the officer. I've been there and I'd bet most real Americans can relate as well. I bet his antenna was bent and the car had primer spots on it too. ;-)

The IRS attached his salary...they sued him in Civil Court...that's why he had the run down boat...he lived on it so he could still work in DC.
