Also I don't believe that people who danced in the street after 9/11 and regulary cheer suicide bombings which they send their children into can be viewed as human beings.

That is one of the most asinine statements I have ever read. ....and part of the problem. I don't care. Those people hate us, hate our culture, our way of life. They desire nothing more than to replace our culture of civility with theirs of barbarism and would just as soon have us convert at gunpoint or kill us if they had the means. They send their own women and children out strapped with explosives and yet we are supposed to embrace some sense of guilt when they are killed.
F' that! I'm not going to show them any love. Piss on them all and may they all burn in hell.
Pets, you forgot Muslim pets...
Now the pets I'd actually feel bad for if they were killed or injured. Animals are more civilized and less barbaric than muslims.

Of course you are right. Fact is most people have a great deal of trouble holding a polite conversation with their neighbor when they keep being punched in the nose by that neighbor. Maybe someday . . .

"Piss on them all and may they all burn in hell."Yeah, but, if you piss on them, they won't burn as well ...
... although it has been said that barbecue is no good for you, that boiling is better.

Thanks for the polite replies. Allow me to elaborate.
I'm no simpleton. I know that Moslem Arabs in Palestine outnumber the Christians, something like 8-to-1. The ratio is getting higher (worse) because Moslems reproduce faster, and Christian Arabs have an easier time emmigrating from the holy land.
I know that as soon as you give Palestinians liberty and self-rule, they will do a lousy job of ruling themselves. In its very short life, the Palestinian Authority was a monument to corruption.
Yet I believe every human being is entitled to live with liberty and dignity in his birthplace. I also believe every person is capable of being saved. I'm a Christian.
Now, would this Palestinian state be a threat to Israel? Possibly. I advocate building a wall around it. The rulers will know that they can't harm Israel militarily, and they will have to keep the masses subdued, or else face retaliation.
The formula works. As you know, neither Egypt, nor Jordan allows its citizens to carry border attacks against Israel. Even Lebanon is finally getting the picture. Of course, Lebanon is a tougher picture because of Hezbollah agitators seeping in from Syria. But the Palestinian state will border Jordan, which will tow the line.
The truth is, a Moslem Arab born in Tel Aviv with Israeli citizenship has more liberty and self-rule than any Arab anywhere in the Middle East. Yet the corrupt and incompetent Arab governments continually make a scapegoat of Israel to cover their own incompetence and brutality.
Enough is enough. You can't hold a people under military occupation for 35 years and expect them to treat you well, particularly when neighboring Arab propoganda machines keep embelleshing the smallest Israeli error or mis-step.
Give the Palestinians a state. Put a wall around it. And let the Christian missionaries work with Christian Arabs to spread the word of peace and salvation.

You talk about our Founding Fathers, did they believe in the autonomy of native american indians to rule their own land?
Native American Indians are now full citizens of the United States. Israel can't afford to ever give Palestinians of occupied territories full citizenship. So the Palestinians can either continue to live under military occupation (in which case the violence will never stop) or be given their own land.
Incidentally, as a Christian, I am sure you are bothered by the plight of native American Indians. This is a terrible precedent to be emulated.
Elsewhere, I saw a confused but well-intentioned Jew advocate mass relocation of Palestinians, and cited as precedent mass relocations in Russian-occupied Eastern Europe after WWII under Josef Stalin.
What's happening to us? Why are we searching for the dark pages of history to justify our actions? What's next? Will we look to Chengiz Khan's actions as justifying precedent?

I am getting really sick of people who whine about "civilian casualties." Ah. Then kindly tell the anti-WOD whiners to shut up.
You missed the point .... we don't care about non-American citizen casualties.
To: kattracks
They're all Vietcong when the bombs explode.

Thanks for explaining it to me. It's so much clearer now.

Either way, I would have thought it best to try and avoid killing civilians regardless of the circumstances. Don't see why this Hamas leader could not have been assassinated in a more surgical fashion by Shin Bet, or whoever.

Ghenghis Khan would know how to deal with the arabs
History is full characters who ruthlessly committed genocide, killing masses of innocent humans to achieve their goals. Chengiz Khan, Ivan the Terrible, Josef Stalin, Chairman Mao, Adolf Hitler. Or, take a good look at the Old Testament, and observe the deeds and thoughts of those who did not follow the divine will.
I don't care to be grouped with those people. And the Nation of Israel should not follow their precedent. Rejoicing at the death of children is simply not what I've been taught in the New Testament.
There's a really nice place I plan to go to after I die, and in order to get there, I try my best to follow the teachings my Lord and savior. I advocate all others to do the same.

First you tell someone to read the New Testament[
Intentionally ommitting the Old Testament], then you say:
Natural law.
#1 You arent qualified to point me or anyone else to the New Testament.
#2 Save your kneejerk contrarian Libertarian drivel for some moronic upstart that might pay attention to you.

I cant stand listening [or reading] to someone acting like they know what in the Hell they are talking about, when...
....they dont know what in the Hell they are talking about.
To: Drew68
I understand but you are making some very broad generalizations....I feel you but "all" Muslims arent this way.
The overwhelming majority? Yes...just not all.
To: VaBthang4
The overwhelming majority? Yes...just not all. How do you know that it is an overwhelming majority and not a narrow majority or vocal minority?
To: ProudAmerican2
Yes Hillary...
...it's a minority.
To: VaBthang4
Now don't you feel silly...
