What I found interesting was the Vote to postpone. The Repunlicans split almost evenly. It was the Democrats that voted 2 to 1 against. The Chairman was pretty mild and the Ranking Member a Democrat was a hard case. Interesting....

I found that very interesting too, the way the parties were split. I'm not that familiar with his voting record, but could it be that he is enough of a renegade and loudmouth that the dems felt it better for him to just shut up and go away already?
