Not bad at all for a guy who sells vowels. Perhaps the kids might have been juiced by someone talking about loftier things but Mr. Sajak did right by giving these kids such sage advice.
An aside: Years ago, Sajak had a late night talk show on ABC. One night while off on vacation he had Rush Limbaugh fill in for him. This was early before Limbaugh became the Golden One. He still worked for a living, and was funny to top it off. Anyway, Rush started the show only to find out that it had been by some ActUp types. Well he just about crapped his pants! (Truthfully, he was ascending back then and had little or no TV experience.) He didn't know if these guys were going to assassinate him or what. They ended up clearing the studio and Rush came on and did the show pretty much in an empty studio. Which explains why entrance to Rush's own TV show was by invite only. For awhile there he was the literal embodiment of the-deer-in-the-headlights!
True story. As they say, You can look it up.

Rush did not panic at the presence of the ACTUP morons, they had to clear the studio because the ACTUP morons kept disrupting taping. Do get your story correct.

Not bad at all for a guy who sells vowelsI wonder if Pat Sajak's less that perfect "PC" rating has something to do with the fact that he's still just "selling vowels".
Maybe he should run for office. It has happened before. I suspect that he is too smart for that.
