IMMEDIATE RELEASE | July 24, 2002 |
This week the Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force each announce decreases of reservists on active duty in support of the partial mobilization, while the Army announces an increase. The net collective result is 1,901 fewer reservists than last week.
The total number currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 35,605; Naval Reserve, 6,996; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 35,075; Marine Corps Reserve, 3,858; and the Coast Guard Reserve 1,298. This brings the total Reserve and National Guard on active duty to 80,614 including both units and individual augmentees.
At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it possible for these figures to either increase or decrease.
A cumulative roster of all National Guard and Reserve who are currently on active duty can be found at http://www.defenselink.mil/news/Jul2002/d20020724ngr.pdf .

Not yet. Wait about 3 months. Things will get interesting then.
Has he been seen back at his hotel?
Got Tinfoil?
Are you concerned...
...that American blood and taxes are being used for military operations unrelated to U.S. defense?
Are you concerned...
...that our own government is committed to making the UN more powerful than any nation on Earth?
Are you concerned...
...that the UN is being given control of our military?
Are you concerned...
...that U.S. military personnel are being prepared to become United Nations soldiers?
I belive we are now in that stage. Will the coming war against Iraq be like the Gulf War,over almost as soon as it begins, or will it turn into something major, like WWIII?
Will the other Arab nations come to the defense of Iraq? There are many reason why they shouldn't, but is Islam a strong enough reason to put their difference aside?
Will the fifth column that has already infiltrated most nations of the west be activated, and will we find our self in a real war on our own soil?
It is said that the Chinese have an curse, "may you live in interesting times." Well these are certainly interesting times.
Whew! Thank you.
(lol)
Thanks but no thanks!
Ever see "Cabaret"?
But I disagree, I think the European would in the end support us.
Well so was I, which was why I asked the question.
The answer to your question above is "the same way".
Americans are "dealing with the threat of war" the same way Germans did in the time leading up to World War Two. They're dealing with it by immersing their sensory inputs past the overload point, and using that process to keep the denial engines running flat out.
Life is a cabaret.
