Maybe, but we've got evidence on site that there are several NIMBY freepers; check out Sawgrass Rebellion for examples.

As I said there:

Private property rights are the reason this country has had the success it has today. Show me one country where the ownership of the common property in government hands has created the wealth the US system has. There isn't one. In fact, most governments despoil their holdings and their people, as evidenced by the late USSR and various African states.

Government has a place in regulating the uses and abuses of property, but is has no place in the ownership of that property in this country. My family came here because my late Father could see the encroaching socialism now holding sway in Britain; now we are headed in the same direction. Not with my acquiescence.
There is a limited place for government controls, but they should be local and pertinent to each situation; not 'one-size-fits-all' smothering blankets from coast to coast.

Heck, brityank, we have a lot of so called conservatives who are in love with the Nature Conservancy and other enviral green thug organizations who post on Free Republic.

I average about one reply a day wondering how I can dare tie these fires into the Greens. That is inspite of the tons of data that all of us have posted about the Druids making our forests/wildlands into tinder boxes ready to explode and burn like terrorist bombs.

Then, I see this narcotic fix on the greens with so called conservatives I know in Kali and Oregon. They claim to be conservatives and yet back all of the vile watermelon agendas.

However, that should not stop the rest of us from buying Ebuck's stickers, putting them on our vehicles and giving them to our relatives and friends for their vehicles.
