Certainly the July 6, 1938 Irgun bombing of an Arab market in Haifa that killed 21-39 people qualifies as a "homicide bombing".
It may not have been a "suicide bombing", but does that really matter to the victims? Incidentally, David Ben Gurion tolerated the various Zionist terrorist groups until Israel had a state (i.e. something concrete to lose). Then he cracked down on them....hard.

And if you're going to bring up the Irgun then you're going to have to be honest about the reason that the group came into existence in the first place. As a splinter group of a larger organization fromed to respond to arab terrorists who were killing Jews.
