BTW: Don't cedars need fire to open up the cones so new trees can grow? I seem to remember this from grade school.
It'll be interesting to see if the "let it burn" crowd will turn up.
Actually it's Pine Trees. Several species require intensive heat to open and release their seeds.
Fire is the process by which these trees renew themselves.
