Family advocates blame the disturbing frequency of children bearing children on permissive sex education in schools and a pro-sex popular culture.
No, duh. As I've stated time and time again, sex education is used as a "Free Pass" to have sex. It presents adult themes and situations to CHILDREN before their minds and bodies are ready to deal with it. It insites curiosity and experimentation. However, the liberal dodos are too ignorant to figure it out. If it's not that, they have a twisted agenda.
Regarding popular culture, I've argued for the enforcement of obscenity laws. However, some have argued that the market must weed it out. As it now stands, the market is not going to weed it out because the public is not offered enough quality, wholesome programming.

PRIMARY school girls as young as 11 have become pregnant and gone on to have babies, official figures reveal. No way...Is that possible? How?!?

I distinctly remember being in the 5th grade talking with my friend Sean after they showed us the sex-ed charts showing how the penis deposits sperm into the vagina and somehow the uterus picks it up and it meets the egg and the baby is started.
We were so clueless that we concluded that you have to pee inside the woman to make a baby (because they didn't cover everything in class).
I simply can not imagine what it's like to be a 10 or 11 year old these days.

"...He said government programs to cut teenage motherhood included the distribution of condoms and the Pill through secondary schools. ..""...Robert Whelan, of the pressure group Family and Youth Concern, said sexually active pre-teens were a major problem.
"These cases probably involve pedophile activity or certainly very much older teenage boys," he said.
"You do not often find sexual relationships between two primary school children. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA"Each case is a tragedy for the girl, who will be damaged mentally, physically and emotionally." And this is a guy talking, kids!
He said government programs to cut teenage motherhood included the distribution of condoms and the Pill through secondary schools. .."
Looks like he's got it all fixed, kids. If they get preggers now, it ain't his fault!!
There is nothing more stupid than a Socialist with half-a-bad-idea, except a Socialist with a whole idea that's wrong!
I'm goin' fishin' with Tommy and Helen! You guys can have it! Hildabeaste is running for president in 2004. I'll be tossin'-tackle in the Gulf of Mexico. I can't think of a single reason to NOT just go fishin'..............FRegards

But look at the bright side, Aussies... your country is virtually gun free, and you'll soon have retina scans and fingerprints to ID all those lovely pregnant teens....

Recent studies have found one in six girls shows signs of puberty by age eight. I'm waiting for the usual suspects to show up to certify that this is 'proof' that it is okay to have relations with eight year olds.

In 2000, more than 380 girls aged 15 or younger gave birth.
And 70 boys aged 15 or younger were acknowledged as fathers on birth certificates. This means that 310 fathers were older than 15. I'll bet that a lot of them were way older than 15. A perennial problem that seems to go unaddressed through the decades.
