Sam is on vacation. He is camping out for the whole week. So he trys to get into the local town and goes to the library to use their computer. He can only have 15 minutes though.

Hi, Snow Bunny!
Sorry to have been offline a while this evening, just getting back on.

Called my grandson in Florida to wish him a happy birthday and for graduating from high school, and after Ryan left for a date, talked with my son (Steve AKA MedProf) and his wife for an hour or more.

Ryan next week takes tests to enter the Coast Guard, and they had already gone to Miami for him to tour a Coast Guard cutter, the kind of vessel he wants as his assignmant.

Bunny, he is 6' 5" and has Sandy's family's broad build, and I laugh at the thought of him collapsing that frame into a bunk built for essentially Cub Scout size..:)))

I do have a funny story about something he did.
In the Spring before he graduated, one of his teachers (a man) made some disparaging remarks about the military.

Ryan drew up to his full height and in a most steely but quiet voice said pointedly, "MY GRANDMOTHER WAS A MARINE!!"
The teacher yielded..:))) LOL
