Thanks, Bunny. My sister doesn't understand how I am able to deal with it sometimes, but to me it is really funny most of the time! It cracks me up as long as what she does is safe and doesn't hurt her. I have all sorts of sympathy for Nancy Reagan and other caregivers and hope to goodness they are able to see as much humor in it as I do! I am sitting here smiling to myself as I write this. My mom says, "It's the pits getting old and having termites in the brain!" I just tell her to enjoy herself and don't worry about it. I tell her that she is old enough to just enjoy the ride and let us worry about making sure she does the right thing. :)

That is wonderful Misty.

My Dad had that and so when President Reagan got it I could feel right away how it was going to be with Nancy Reagan and Ronald Reagan too.

I remember when it started and my father announced it before he even went to the doc about it. He just knew, different things....he just knew. He was 82 when he got it and was so sweet the whole time.He kept calling my mom his girlfriend and wanted a kiss on the cheek . Then he wanted to make sure no one saw since he was no old enough to have a girlfriend he would say.

Thank you for sharing about your mom.

I think Heaven has a special gift to give those that have this. God is so loving to know how hard it is when loved ones suffer from such things. And it IS important too , to laugh as well. Can you imagine a world without laughter.....God thought of everything.Joy, sorrow, tears and laughter.
