Chris Ruddy's NewsMax, which I used to have some degree of trust in, given that he was so instrumental in exposing the truth about Vince Foster's murder, refuses to remove an advertisement it's carrying promoting a video by one Alex Jones, a conspiracy kook who claims, in excruciatingly unexamined, half-assed detail, that the U.S. government, and the "New World Order", were in fact behind the attacks of September 11. They ALLOWED Al-Qaida to do this, you see, so that they could institute global tyranny. Blah, blah, blah.

Exactly!!! I can't count the number of times Newsmax has been quoted on linked on these boards......now all of a sudden they're kook conspiracy nut cases.

I just love reading posts here.....Clinton has been accused of anything and everything.....yet God forbid anyone even questions the government under our good "christian" Republican president. Truly amazing.

I have no idea or opinion on this subject IF,it is true or not, all I can say is from observing what governments do and have been doing today, I can no longer say " No Way, that cannot be true".

There is an old saying " truth is stranger than fiction," I just wonder to how much that saying applies in our world today and on what goes on behind the scenes that would probably blow our minds.

I've seen the Alex Jones video, and it's hilarious. I love how it's promoted as "documented proof", when his documentation consists of "it is said that" and "it's documented that"... no cites... except of course for the infamous "Northwoods Document" which not only came out in 1962, but has been proven, by the author, to be a hoax he and others wrote as a joke. For Jones to continue to cite that "document" as proof of his claims just shows how desperate he is for documentation of his false claims.

I must correct myself... I was thinking of the "Report from Iron Mountian"... a book cited by many (including Jones) as the blueprint for the NWO conspiracy. It, indeed, is a hoax. I'll have to investigate the Northwoods thingie and see what it's about.

Anyway... Jones is a nutcase... I know... because "it's documented".
