Nope. Never got to KC. I was at New River, NC, Vietnam, Cherry Point, El Toro, CA, Camp Lejeune, Pendleton, 29 Palms, Tustin/Santa Ana, Alameda NAS, Mare Island NSY, etc... Went to boot camp at Parris Island which makes me a REAL Marine instead of a HOLLYWOOD Marine... did learn that the first Marine Boot Camp on the west coast was at Mare Island. Bit if trivia for you.

Thanks. Many of the Marines I worked with went to PI, Lejeune, or Pendleton.

The one I was asking about ,Chris, went into some kind of intelligence group (A spy, he liked to say). Thought someday I might run into him again.
