For alot of people once LE said pedophile and kiddie porn it was a done deal. It mattered not one whit, if they could prove it. It quelled the growing hysteria in Stepford Springs. The rest as they say, is history.

The sad things are:

The VD's have apparently learned NOTHING. They will move along to infect the next community.

If the jury acquits David Westerfield, his life is ruined beyond repair. Oh yeah, his friends can and probably will help him out but they can't fix it. The bell was rung loudly and clearly and cannot be unrung, ever.

You can bet the people in that neighborhood are praying for a conviction. Just the thought of what killer Westerfield will do to their property values as well as their peace of mind if he slithers back to his house.
