So will Goff want to do a recreation type thing to research this case? Is there time? Or will he just say that's what he would do to determine things - but leave it open as to what his results might be if he did that?
I doubt he has time to do a recreation unless he has already done some studies on it. In that he has students and does this sort of thing for fun he might have done such studies already.
Either way, all the prosecutor needs to do is give any reason to doubt the old bug guys and he'll get a conviction based on the physical evidence.
