Maine?! If Partnership for a Tobacco Free Maine spending millions on the sponsorship of "5" race car teams, then I guess the money is being well spent. NOT!

Nicotine is to Smoker as
Money is to Politician.
This is no different than a personal injury case where the victim gets the money up front instead of paid out over time. The unwary client goes on a spending spree and does not provide for future medical care. At this point, if these were private sector CEO's the politicians would be screaming for their heads.

Don't forget the trial lawyers creamed off their fees before the states got a split. Those same trial lawyers now share control of the Democrat Party with the state & municipal employees union, the abortion lobby and the Sierra Club.

In Minnesota. former AG Skip Humphrey cut himself in for a nice chunk. Its ALWAYS about the money.

What a surprise! Politicians mis-using the funds in the tobacco settlement "lock box" just like they do the money in the social security "lock-box".

AL GORE: I'll keep Social Security in a lockbox. |
 |
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE ACTOR: One of the keys to the lock box would be kept by the President. The other key would be sealed in a small container and placed under the bumper of the Senate Majority Leader's car. |

It should have gone to the tax payers! They said they were suing to reimburse the medical expenses paid by us! Instead it was obviously pilfered once again by lying politicians.
