Snow Bunny and Tonkin, I just saw this in the July-August 2002 issue of AARP Bulletin - "Send Thanks to our troops. AARP, in cooperation with the Department of Defense, will launch a program Aug. 1 that enables you to send messages of appreciation to our armed forces in Afghanistan, Bosnia and elsewhere. For details, go to www.aarp.org/bulletin." (I didn't see any info there. Maybe it isn't posted yet.) Sounds like a great program. (Although, the FR USO Canteen is a "veteran" regarding sending messages of appreciation to our troops! : ) )
Hmmm...Maybe AARP should do an article on the FR USO Canteen. : )
