It's bed time; however, I wanted to leave you with some results NOT shared in the summary article for this weekend's predictably biased Newsweek poll. [NOTE: I had to get this information from pollingreport.com; Newsweek refuses to publish raw data from its polls -- typical of this RAT rag. If you subscribe to Newsweek, I strongly recommend that you cancel your subscription!!]

POLL QUESTION:
"How much of the blame, if any, do you think each of the following deserves for recent corporate scandals like Enron, WorldCom and Tyco? What about [see below]? Does this deserve a lot of the blame, some, only a little, or none of the blame for the recent corporate scandals?"

Corporate executives
A lot 69% Some 18% Only a Little 5% None 2% Don't Know 6%

Corporate boards of directors
A lot 59% Some 25% Only a Little 7% None 3% Don't Know 6%

Accounting firms
A lot 49% Some 29% Only a Little 8% None 6% Don't Know 8%

A decline in moral and ethical standards in society
A lot 39% Some 27% Only a Little 15% None 11% Don'tKnow 8%

Government agencies that regulate U.S. business and finance
A lot 35% Some 38% Only a Little 12% None 7% Don't Know 8%

Wall Street investment and brokerage firms
A lot 33% Some 33% Only a Little 13% None 10% Don'tKnow 11%

Former President Clinton and his Administration
A lot 25% Some 29% Only a Little 19% None 20% Don't Know 7%

The U.S. Congress
A lot 20% Some 38% Only a Little 20% None 15% Don't Know 7%

President Bush and his Administration
A lot 18% Some 29% Only a Little 21% None 25% Don't Know 7%

Note who the pollees blamed the LEAST: President Bush and his Administration. Contrary to PC liberal spin, Newsweek discovered that more pollees hold Clinton/admin responsible for current corporate problems than Pres Bush/admin. Of course, Newsweek did NOT include a word of this in their article.

To both protest this purposeful distortion of polling results and DEMAND unbiased polling/news coverage in the future, call the following Newsweek editors at 212/445-4000:

Editor: Mark Whitaker
Managing Editor: Jon Meacham
Assistant Managing Editors: Kathleen Deveny, Alexis Gelber, Evan Thomas
Editor/General Manager, Newsweek.msnbc.com: Michael Rogers
[NOTE: If the editors have moved on or been reassigned, simply ask for their replacement.]

WE MUST HOLD LIBERAL POLITICANS AND MEDIA HUCKSTERS ACCOUNTABLE. If we do not, they will surely destroy our wonderful president!

Yes, I'm tired -- I meant to direct my last post to 'All' not me!

By-the-by, did all of you watch the state dinner reruns on c-span?! I loved the jazz singer! She edited the second refrain of God Bless America as follows: God bless our President, man that we love . . . . After she finished singing, the President joined her on stage and gave her a big kiss (on the cheek) and hug -- as he spoke, she continued to hug him (and lay her head on his shoulder) -- it was so TOUCHING and so Dubya. I just love our President!!

FYI: The President plans to visit Naperville, IL tomorrow (suburb of Chicago).
