No, the hospitals are hiring people from Pakistan, India etc etc, that can barely communicate in English. This can be very dangerous for the patients.
And yes, there have been several raids at hospitals in Denver, LA and Atlanta where workers behind the scenes were in country illegally.
Not all that work in hospitals are doctors....
Illegal aliens as NURSES have been busted at least twice in the past five years in the Midwest. In one of the cases, INS and other federal authorities actually used in the prosecution a calculation they did of how much the huge number of illegals hired by one nursing-home chain had depressed wages of nurses there!
Anyone not thinking that illegals are hurting both patient care and nurse wages is in denial.
