Yeah, well from an IT system perspective

all votes for Algore, were ID 10T user errors. Since it was such a hotly contested election, doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about the users of the electoral system.

Point I am making is that the media deck is so biased, and so stacked against us, that it is inevitable they will be able to take these business failures, ALL of which had their seeds in the Clinton Gore years, and hang them deftly around Bush's neck.

Yes, but it doesn't seem like the public is buying it.
Polls show more people blame Clinton for this mess than Bush.

I think the reason we see FOX beating CNN and Ann Coulter's book a #1 best seller proves that the liberal media is really less influencial than it seems.

The former vice president prompted a cheer when he said: "I don't care what anybody says. I think Bill Clinton and I did a damn good job."

There's an old saying in Texas: "You'd stop worrying about what others thought of you if you realized how seldom they did."

Al, you were a bit player in a really bad movie. I forgot about you once the lights came on in the theater. Your 15 minutes are up. GOOD NIGHT NOW!

Writing in the Washington Post, June 29, 2002- Eyad Sarraj of the Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizens' Rights makes clear how much of a departure Bush's embrace of democracy is from the Clinton administration:

One of my earliest and greatest shocks was when U.S. Vice President Al Gore, during a mid-1990s visit to Jericho, publicly approved the establishment of military courts by the Palestinian Authority. These courts have sentenced people to death in summary trials where the accused have no attorney and no right to appeal. In 1996, I dared to say that the regime was corrupt and oppressive. For this, I was arrested, beaten and thrown into solitary confinement.

The bronze of Lincoln now appears in the photos rintense posts on her daily thread ... A Day in the Life of President Bush. As a matter of fact, I think it's in one of the photos posted last night.

It truly was a wonder to behold ... to know that Counsel to Vice President Cheney had requested the return of the "inadvertently packed" priceless sculpture, and then President Lincoln was back home in the White House.

I love the way Team Bush operates ... just going about, doing their jobs ... that's one scam they didn't let happen ... and I'm sure there's many more.

Has anyone ever noticed this phenomenon? Whenever there is a story critical of Clinton, it is inevitably on WorldNetDaily, or Newsmax. (the little guys) Whenever there is a story critical of Bush or the Republicans, it is on ABC, CBS, NBC, Yahoo, AP, Reuters, CNN? (the big boys)

Well, yes, I 've noticed the "phenomenon" too. Only problem is, it's not a phenomenon. I realize that the right is still obsessed with Bill Clinton, but surely you understand that he's no longer in office, correct? To those with a little perspective, it would then stand to reason that he's not going to make headlines every day. G.W. Bush, however, is currently in office, in the "hot seat" as it were. Major news coverage of a sitting president's every move is to be expected. At least it should be, which brings us to our next misconception...

...the media deck is so biased, and so stacked against us...

Are you guys still peddling that "liberal media" line? Until the "corporate corruption" stories became too big to ignore, the mainstream media bent over backwards to make Bush appear "presidential", burying his ignorant "do you have blacks too?" remark in Brazil, and virtually ignoring his childish tantrum while at a press conference with Chirac. If the mainstream media were as anti-Bush as you claim, these stories (among many others) would have been front-pagers.

On average, the media treats presidents much the same way they treat all celebrities: fawning over them one day, vilifying them the next.

...ALL of which had their seeds in the Clinton Gore years...

Once again, the GOP fixation on Clinton's Evil Penis keeps them from having to admit the ugly truth: that Newt's Republican Congress of the 1990's blocked every attempt at corporate reform sent its way. Much of the revisions they deep-sixed then are the same ones currently being passed now. Yep, the media's so doggone "liberal" that they bring up this discrepancy all the time. Oops, wait a minute...they don't.

...and hang them deftly around Bush's neck.

At last check, it was neither Clinton nor Gore who were longtime friends of Kenneth Lay. Nor did either of them claim publicly --- numerous times --- that there was no friendship, despite massive evidence to the contrary.

Most folks also realize that Clinton isn't responsible for Bush's pre-White House business boondoggles, but you'll be hanging that on him in short order, no doubt.

It would be fascinating to watch it happening, if it weren't so horribly wrong and immoral.

I couldn't agree more.

The fact (as any Freeper who has been here awhile knows) is that the phenomena I spoke of, where the serious Clinton crimes are only addressed in WND or Newsmax, and NEVER in the lamestream media, has been going on since 1993.

You wouldn't know that, since you just joined FreeRepublic a week ago. (But that doesn't stop you from shooting your mouth off about things you don't know, of course.)

Nobody here is interested in Bill Clinton's penis. We are interested about the fact that he had people like Vince Foster and Ron Brown MURDERED, and he gave our nuclear secrets away in exchange for bribe money to our implacable enemy, China. You know -- little things like that.

To li'l liberal "minds" like yours, these corrupt businesses were jus' pure as the driven snow until 18 months ago, then they ALLLLLLLL went crooked simultaneously because George W Bush took office. Tyco, WorldCom, Global Crossing, AOL, and about ten others, they were all upstanding in their financial dsiclosures until GWB laid his hand on the Bible to take the oath, then they ALLLLLLLLLLL went bad simultaneously.

In your Saturday morning cartoon view of things that may fly, but not among people with minds. Go back to DU where you don't have to think.

Clinto WAS a friend of Lay's, dear. Perhaps, before you decide to talk about things, which you haven't a clue about, you should do some research. :-)

Gore is miffed that he didn't get a big book deal like Clinton and his partner in crime (Hitlery). After all, he has all the "Inside" information on that perverted administration.

Why don't you squeel at last Mr. Gore...you'll make more money than you ever dreamed...oh yeah...Vince Foster.

I guess I like the "You've never told a lie?.."Not that I know of" the best.

Could that be related to his own little "fantasy" world and his dellusions (sp) of grandeur.??

I really do think he is a sick puppy and the party should "retire him" before he totally snaps and spews the secrets of the previous perverted administration.

Then again, maybe that's why they continue to put him forth as "his own man" (loser) despite the "we told you so".

If he did decide to spew, he'd be portrayed as a notorious liar and "sore loser" within the party and of course, why would anyone listen to a man with such characteristics. It's clever and not so "Vince Foster".
