Only Pipes has had it correct from the beginning. America better listen to this man. The worst threat we have to contend with lies ahead where the Islamics intend to use the political process to make America into an Islamic government. Constitutionally, they are free to do so.

Bump! And for emphasis:

Pipes singled out four mistakes by the government: viewing terrorist attacks as crimes, not acts of war; relying on electronic surveillance rather than human intelligence; not understanding what he called the "hate-America mentality"; and ignoring the terrorist infrastructure inside America.

Pipes merely documents what our 16th Century ancestors already knew: there is no place in Christendom for Islam. It has nothing to do with theology.

Christianity long ago evolved a mindset that can manage to co-exist, even up to a point encourage, non-Christian pluralism. There simply is no such latitude in Islam.

The Muslims in this country are simply dissembling as they lie in wait for their opportunity. This 'false face' is even encouraged in the Q'uran as a necessary means to the stated Islamic end of converting or killing non-Muslims.
