Doug Lorenz brought out an essential point. 3rd parties have no clout, no matter how good their intentions. I voted for Ross Perrot and in so doing elected Clinton, to my horror. A vote for a 3rd party is a vote for the Democrats. (The only exception that comes to mind is Ralph Nader.)
So we have a choice: Republican or Democrat, and within that proper choice: Help the RLC or not.

Well... we forgive you! Folks, Forest was instrumental in the phone-banking for Bill Simon after he researched Simon's positions and liked what he saw. That's called earning one's penance... ;-) Thanks, Forest.
Seriously, 1992 was a horror, and besides Clinton's enduring legacy, the effect continues: for example, we wouldn't have Daschle in charge of the Senate today if liberty-minded voters in Washington, New Mexico and Missouri hadn't been driven from the GOP. The RLC is a home for them and an opportunity to wrench the GOP towards liberty principles. The DemocRats must be stopped!
