One thing Traficant obviously knows is who pressured him to vote against impeachment, and how. Why shouldn't he make that information public now? What does he have to lose?

Maybe, and it would be interesting, but hardly a career-killer. It says more about Jim's lack of character than the other person (if he or she exists). Unless he has rock-solid evidence of Democratic perfidy, it'll be nothing more than some (entertaining) rantings.
