Traficant is one of my daily key word searches for articles of interest to me on FR. Tonight's search, bringing up articles from March 7th to date, I find that this post on Rushs comments have sparked more comments and the most favorable support for the man than any other thread I have seen to date.
Could someone please tell me, would it be procedurally possible for Traficant, before his expulsion, to call for a vote to open the room containing the evidence from the impeachment. I am one American who would like to know before I leave this earth, just what the life long Democrat, former Chicago Prosecutor David P. Schippers, who, under Attorney General Robert Kennedy, served as leader of the Justice Departments Organized Crime and Racketeering Unit, and who convicted such mobsters as Sam Giancana and Sam Battaglia, and his investigative team were able to put together. I can hardly fathom that these boxes upon boxes of investigative materials that he discusses in his book Sellout didnt even spark enough interest for one DemonRAT representative to go and look at it. It just ticks me off that they locked it up so no one could see it.
Additionally, I am surprised that the media has not latched on the story of the testimony of Richard Detore before this Ethics Committee. I noted from a google, transcripts of Mr. Detore's prior appearances before congressional committees as an expert witness. One would think that what he had to say in this hearing might spark a little media interest. Even if it were only equal to the amount of coverage of the recently ended trial of former FBI agent John Connolly, I would like to see it. Does anyone when Connolly will receive his sentence?
I hope Traficant goes out with the "whistle-blowing farewell expose" that Rush has asked for.
