You need not be prepared to discuss them on the terms I demand, but rather to discuss them in the first place. Otherwise you should not expect others to accept your assertions as you pose them, nor should you be surprised when others dismiss them. You cannot make assertions which you refuse to defend or discuss while simultaneously expecting others to follow your word without questions. Since you obviously subscribe to your positions to a degree of strength that you feel comfortable belittling the positions of others who disagree with you, the burden rests squarely upon your shoulders to carry that position of your own during the same debate.

More or less. Or in the very least, if you are unwilling to do these things, you should not expect others to find truth in your positions, nor have you any grounds to belittle them when they do not. As it stands right now, you take your positions, refuse to defend them, and simultaneously belittle those who do not go along with them as if they have committed an error. Your actions are fundamentally inconsistent with each other rendering much of your behavior irrational.
