Bill O'Reilly spoke with a CA state assemblyman on his show on Thursday night (I think it was). They were discussing the fact that Mexico consistently refuses to extradite even the most outrageous criminal to the U.S., if that means they will be executed OR EVEN IMPRISONED FOR LIFE!

In Mexico, according to O'Reilly's guest, the heaviest prison sentence is "forty years," and they will not allow one of "theirs" to be heartlessly mistreated by the gringos.

It is pretty sickening. This assemblyman said that they are trying very hard to get Pres. Bush to begin making extradition for capital crimes a condition in further negotiations with Mexico.

I think those of us in the border states in particular should contact the White House in support of that.

It would be nice to see Bush start setting some conditions on Mexico for that and many other things. It's absurd that Fox, Castaneda, and Hernandez can puff themselves up by telling Americans how to better treat their citizens when conditions for the Mexicans are very terrible in Mexico. There is absolutely no excuse for some of what goes on over there and has gone on for a long time. There used to be a show in Juarez on TV where poor people would come on and show pictures of their lost ones ---missing children and teens, there were a lot and from all over Mexico. The ruling elites do nothing to help their condition or make life safer for them. I wonder how many times Westerfield took his RV into Mexico and got by with his perversions or this Avila and others.
