Where is Yasser Arafat when we need him?
With all due respect, America never has and never will NEED that sack of phlegm on legs.
We do not need nor should we need others to do our dirty work.
I don't approve of prison rapes of other prisoners. I don't approve of torture of felons for punishments less than the death penalty. Most of all, I will never approve or support vigilante justice. Last time I checked, this was still America and we still have a Constitution.
I truly hope we are not at the point where most men have been sufficiently feminized in Ameirca and are unable to roll up their sleeves and do dirty work. I especially hope there are still some who are already charged with such duties. If not, then I'll step forward and offer my services. I won't relish it, but I will do it if required. I may have been tamed a tad but, I still have no compunction about rockin' and rollin' when the need arises.

I thought they had strong evidence AND a confession at some point out of Westerfield on the Van Damme case. I have not followed it closely, but what I have seen seems to indicate that his only chance of escaping conviction is keeping evidence from being presented and discrediting the parents, neither of which are very legitimate methods in my opinion.

Sure hope this is the perp. I live 2 mi from this crime scene. We have a lot of scared little ones in the neighborhood now. This is the most heart-wrenching crime
that I can remember. We have a family friend who is a jailer at the facility where Avila was taken. I know the rage in my heart, these officers must have to work awfully hard to control their own. We express our desire to "get this guy" from a distance. They are hands on with him. Must be really hard for them. Pray for Samantha's mom and grandma. Can't even imagine their pain.

I realize that some of you are offended that in my opinion it should be against the law to depict instructionally something that is against the law. It is argued that even a murder mystery would fall in that category. I guess that's true, because some have already pointed to "Basketball Diaries" and Columbine as a case in point.
But what I had in mind was more like the Curley's allegations against NAMBLA (which ACLU is defending) in their civil case over the rape and murder of their son, Jeffrey.
Another example of irresponsible publication in my opinion, is the website which provided instructions on how to synthesize a virus. The procedure was successfully followed just recently to produce polio. I hope the next thing won't be 'how to target a virus to a particular genetic trait.' Wouldn't al Queda love that?
We have "thought crimes" on the books under the color of "hate crimes." I don't like those laws because, to me, all crime is hateful. I guess it is very difficult to draw a line in free speech.
At any rate, I hope the civil lawsuits are wildly successful against the likes of NAMBLA. And if Samantha's parents have any basis for such a suit, I'm all for it.

You know what? We should all offer a prayer for the scared children and the families in your area. I bet rage is probably not even a strong enough word to describe what some of ya'll are feeling... Thank you for sharing..

No you didn't disagree with me, I just pinged you and Askel5 because I thought it was a topic you were following on the thread. Sorry about that.
To: Alamo-Girl
Hi AG! Do you have links to threads about the suit against nambla?
To: sweetliberty
Mountains of so-called "evidence" that could have been produced against you or me, that is.
Nothing evidential that he ever committed a crime. They could have picked any one of 20 other people and fabricated just as much about THEM! All circumstantial.
Maybe there IS some chance DW is guilty, but that is not what is at issue!
Our legal system says the jury must find him CERTAINLY GUILTY BEYOND a REASONABLE DOUBT.
There is reasonable doubt that David ever laid eyes on Danielle that day. Reasonable doubt he was ever in their (VD) home, ever. AND AN ABSOLUTE certainty, DW could not have dumped the body on Dehesa. Even if he killed her, he had help, on that.

I was following it on the thread.........and I read your posts about it because you're one of the only people who DOESN'T seem to have an agenda.......LOL. I'm here to learn!

O'Reilly has been all over the board with his opinions lately, in a effort to attract a more moderate audience. It really detracts from his sincerity. Noticed that too, eh?

Where'd you go? Did you get tired of making racist remarks and threatening to kill people? He probably got a time out. How come I miss these posts before they get admin'ed?

Uhhhh, no. The parents (and their "friends") have been caught in lie after lie so far and the evidence has been spotty at best. The defense attorney brought out a "bug guy" who pointed to the time of death as being after Westerfield was in custody. Conviction is far from a foregone conclusion (and unless the DA pulls a rabbit out of the hat - downright unlikely).

Sorry, but that's just circumstance. You can't agree that the circumstances can make the same act incredibly more painful?
Say the kidnapping, rape and murder had been done by a convicted child molester who had been let out of jail on a fluke, or by an appeals court overturning his sentence. The child would be just as dead as if she had been murdered by someone with NO criminal record, but the fact that the act was committed by someone who should never have been around to commit such a crime would be an aggravation of the same circumstance.
