Update from OC Sheriff... Press conference..
Playing 911 tape of the people that found the body, male caller was extremely upset, and scared, he was crying, and telling 911 the location but the cell phone transmission was breaking up and was disconnected.
They called the telephone number he left before the disconnect and they called his home and got a messege machine. He called back within minutes and made contact again with 911 and was almost hysterical and crying saying it was little girl and was very distraught,
When Cell caller got home he called again from home phone and recontacted 911, 911 said they would pick him up and the he could show him where the body was.

Press conference continues, stating over 2000 citizens have given leads......

Well, let's not forget that there were the 2,500-plus criminals released from Cuban jails and mental patients who tried to slip in with the 35,000 or so fleeing Communist Cuba, most of whom have turned out to be as fine a bunch of Americans as any from any of our dozens of former ethnic groups. And, of course, at least a few enemy intelligence agents slipped in the mix, hardly the fault of the legitimite honest immigrants, but a danger to this country that shouldn't be ignored.
He frequently shows up on the Confederate and Southern History posts and threads where his generalizations and sopotty examples are shot down with dreary regularity, at which point he begins anew with the same old KKK labels.
Indeed, the tactic is so common with him, as with his attack in this thread on you, that one begins to wonder if he's a KKK recruiter trying to drum up attention to them....

I believe that the safer bet would be to count them with 58% of Mexicans surveyed in Mexico that do believe that the Southwest United States rightfully belongs to them, or at least half of them.
That would make it 65% to 72% of Mexicans surveyed in Mexico are for trying to take the Southwest United States back.

On the contrary, the point of my post was intended to predict, diffuse and dismiss his probable defense from the outset.
Assuming he IS the guilty pervert, I believe he is a mean, evil SOB, not insane -- he needs to be held accountable in accordance with the most severe provisions of the law.
IF (big if) society had the stomach to subect these people to truly hard labor, that would satisfy me more than capital punishment in these kinds of cases.
In my mind, incarceration of violent criminals serves four (4) purposes (in order)" 1: Protect society by denying the offender their freedom; 2: To PUNISH the offender; 3: For the incarceration and punishment to serve as a deterrent to others; and, 4: Possible rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation is not even a consideration in this crime. Incarceration would remove him from society but we do not have the fortitude truly to PUNISH him there. Therefore, capital punishment is the last, best option in this case -- and will serve as the best deterrent.

But I wasn't talking about violent crimes--those happen every day, and I'd even submit that they are more frequent among certain "minority" populations. We're talking about "serial killers."

I don't understand how we ever got where we are with this topic in our modern jurisprudence. How in the world can anyone determine "whether the person was able to distinguish between right and wrong"? We are not God, and we cannot see into a man's heart.
Therefore, we should have stuck with what we've always done in trying a person for crimes: Judge him on what he DID, not what he thought about it.
It's this kind of thinking that has led to the concept of "hate crimes." The person's motives are immaterial except to establish his guilt. That he had a motive is important; what that motive was is irrelevant.

I responded by pointing out that white males in the United States are unfairly maligned by statistics that don't reflect the equally vicious and heinous crimes committed by persons of all nationalities, races, religions and genders.
I'll say it for the umpteenth-and-one time, there's plenty of blame to go around for all nationalities, races, religions and genders, but that is no justification for our government to continue to allow the massive influx of millions of legal and illegal immigrants into our country without criminal background checks.
