Any attack against nefarious, devious and perverted 'political correctness' is welcome. The premise and points are correct.
But the argumentative value is poor in my judgement. It is a poorly worded essay. Again, not saying the points he/she takes up are not valid; it just lacks a bit of beef and bone and I think liberals could take it apart. Sounds a bit like truck stop chat in Ozona, Texas over chili. Nothing wrong with that, though, we all have free speech rights. I think conservatives can field better than this, IMHO.

Imagine this: The prettiest woman in the world should be the most selective woman in finding a mate? All she has to do is look and see that there is a line of people begging for her attention, willing to worship her, and declare how much they adore her, and would never cheat on her!...Stay with me, please----
Then imagine some liberal congressmen ordering this trophy of a woman to mate with any stinking worthless bum in order that she will give EQUAL OPPORTUNITY to all people. The congressmen say, your mate does not have to tell you I love you, does not have to declare his faithfulness to you!
Now, I bet you got what I am trying to say. The US is the most desirable country in the world. Millions who are qualified and willing to die for this country and its noble principles are rejected in order that we may give visas to worthless Moslems who hate us, and will never assimilate in our society? What a stupid congress, and what a stupid INS!

My Japanese wife has adapted quite well to American culture, she has a credit card, checkbook, ebay account, etc.
Sigh.

That is the thing about mail order brides. They sit in front of the TV, learn from Oprah how to be a bitch, and get a credit card to shop their life away!

Fine and dandy. I like the way you express your frustration. And I agree that immigrants who deliberately act in subversive ways seeking to undermine the security of the US should absolutely be deported or imprisoned. OTOH what do you do about the native born Americans who hate the USA and what this counry stands for? The man who brought the lawsuit to omit "under God" from the pledge is an American born amd bred citizen. The raving lunatics who protest against Bush, free trade, etc are after all American born. The academic university leeches are for the most part all born in the USA nad mostly abhor free market, conservative values. So do most of the media. Most immigrants I know are more conservative than any of us. The real danger to this country has always been from within that is from American born traitors.

Agree with this message, am passing it along and hoping others will all begin to speak out about this subject. Our language is English. Those coming to this country only have to learn one language. We should not have to learn 20 to understand our neighbor. If I intended to move to another country permanently, I would learn their language to make it easier on me and my family. What's the big deal? Do I expect all those countries to learn my language? It's silly. Doesn't make sense and needs to be addressed.

If you are from Canada you know pretty well what the history and makeup of America is;
Why not just try to make your point up front?

"I'm from Canada, so please excuse my ignorance about American culture. From this article I gather it's primarily made up of speaking English and Christianity. Is that correct?" Oh, you mean like Canada being made up of mostly French speaking Catholics?

My Japanese wife has adapted quite well to American culture, she has a credit card, checkbook, ebay account, etc. Oh, no you don't. That will not do at all. She has to be "over the limit" on the credit card and "overdrawn" on her checking account ;-)
