There is no rehab for child predators... they cannot change their desires.

This is the same kind of argument that is used to excuse homosexual lifestyles on the grounds that people are "born gay." In both cases it is nonsense. Evil desires can be attenuated and their influence overcome by sustained practice of mental and moral disciplines; the bible itself says so. "Flee youthful lusts." "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." The problem is not with this. The problem is with modern liberal secular ideas.

Yes, you are right that the same argument is used for homosexual behavior. However, we see how the Catholic church tried to get help for their child predators, and it didn't work. I believe anyone can change from their wicked ways through Christ, and I clearly would love to see that happen. I am not willing to take the risk that these child predators are going to change or can be rehabilatated though. It is not worth risking one more child possibly being harmed. We are seeing these monsters let loose into our streets and neighborhoods and continuing to do the same crap over and over again.
