Clinton sold us out, but Bush is selling us down the river.

Don't worry. Hillary is running in 2004.

I'm happy that there is a gradual movement of conservatives brave enough to stand up and espouse their views and not be scared into silence by Bushbots who hold no real views or ideals. They just sell their political soul to the Republican establishment. Sure it was fun to have them when all us freepers used to complain about the Clintoon administration, but now that Republicans are in power the conservatives are being seperated from the bots.

Is it? When your hippie dope smoking anti-American neighbor up the street calls you in as a right wing miltia supporter one day to the TIPS program and you get hauled in for questioning for 10 hours, 9 of which are in a holding cell with the scum of the earth, is that hysteria? Just curious.
To: ninenot
Interestingly, the program came to light not through the reporting of any U.S. press outlets,Of course not - the press will be the first ones to turn me in for having observed my "cultural insensitivity." They love this stuff.

There is not a damn thing stopping him from doing that now. Get a grip.

The only thing out of control is the government. Time to smack the government around a little bit and show them the people won't accept an American Stasi.

didn't they say..."without a shot being fired"?

This hysteria is getting out of control. If this had come from Clinton/Reno, the Bushies would be hysterical too.
Just remember this: the pendulum swings. Bush is creating a statist infrastructure that will one day be controlled by Dems.

yeah,yeah,yeah.

Look, you, me or anyone can drop the dime on anyone we may have a grudge against tonight. As I said get a grip.
To: Nuke'm Glowing
...is that hysteria?
Yes, your scenario is hysteria.
To: dalebert
This.
This will be the IRS on steroids, and with about 100 times the staff.

Do you honestly think Hillary gives one tittle about this program? If Hillary wants to re-create the Stasi, she'll do it regardless of what Bush does or does not do. So quit trying to scare the children and old folks with meaningless folderol about what the Clinton's might or might not do.
To: ninenot
BS!
the enemy is already within..there is no profile because the face is white, black, hispanic, middle eastern, asian...the only response is to report suspicious actions that suggest terrorist activity.
