I do remember your posts from the pool area and how someone had told you to do a headstand in the pool to sober up...too funny.
I am going to have to say goodnight now - will look in on this one in the morning when I post the new thread. Hope you can come back. L - take care. It was so wonderful to see you here and know that you enjoyed your day.I posted this one once before, but it seems appropriate again. 'Nite, ALL
It is time for me to say goodnight also. There is a State Dinner at the WH tonight and I simply must surf the net and find some photos and articles about it.
It was great seeing you again LBGA. God Bless you and your family and, to echo Tonk, tell Tyler "Thank you for serving our country".
Here is a photo of the State Dinner....This is only the 2nd State Dinner the Bushes have had. I think Laura's bow is meant to bring out the jewel tones in her gown which don't photograph well. Makes the bow look real prominent and out of place in photos but I am sure it looks much different in person. The dress per se is absolutely stunning. It is by Oscar de La Renta.

I love cows! They have the most beautiful, soulful eyes. I can identify with your feelings about animals and your love for a good steak. I wish I could be a vegetarian, but I was raised on beef. It's too late for me, I think. :-(
LBGA, your efforts with the Freeper Album are extraordinary, requiring so very much time to put together.
We are truly indebted to you for being able to see the faces that go with familiar names of so many.
It is a joy to honor your talents, dedication and wonderful self.
I didn't know I was one of the first you met, but I am so glad that the photo album provided a way for you to get to know everyone better. You sure have made a positive impact on FR, and I am so glad that you are here.
Thank YOU for serving, and for continuing to serve. :-)
Thank you for your prayers for this anonymous FReeper, too. It was daunting to think competitors could find out that my business was not doing well since I was sick, but now that I know I will be totally well, and am back on track in business, I don't worry about sharing this news with my friends.
Now I am well on my way to making this a success story. :-)
Here's one! I was at DisneyWorld last summer for 2 weeks in back-to-back conferences. When I first got there, BWB and her daughter, Nina, and I met for the first time for dinner at a Japanese steakhouse. It was a delightful evening, and so much fun to meet other FReepers.
After my second conference, I had a day planned to relax before travelling home, so BWB spent the day with me at the pool. We went to the bar to get something to eat and while we were there a thunderstorm hit. Only people sitting at the bar under the roof were allowed to stay in the pool area. We had no choice but to have a second margarita so we could stay there. ;-)
I do remember your posts from the pool area and how someone had told you to do a headstand in the pool to sober up...too funny.
LOL!!! We both did it! Pretty good for girls our age. I can't remember if it really sobered us up, though. We still had to post on FR for a couple of hours before BWB felt okay to drive home!
Dansangel, it was so much fun meeting you and .45man, and I keep thinking about the two of you and wanting to do it again, but my schedule is pretty much day-to-day right now. Everyone, if you EVER have a chance to meet dansangel and .45man, do it! Talk about gracious, fun and interesting... and they really are a super cute couple.... well, not cute, downright good-looking! FReepers are a fine looking bunch.
Mama_Bear, I didn't thank you for the lovely graphic. I absolutely love irises, being a Tennessean originally. They are my favorite flower and I have them all over my yard. It was so sweet of you to make that special graphic. I saved it! :-)
Everyone, please do join the FReeper Photo Album if you haven't. HiJinx sent 2 pics yesterday, and both are now in the album!
Daisyscarlett, thanks for the memories. You must have a steel trap mind! I don't know how you remembered all those things I had posted before. It was fun recollecting them. :-)
And Billie, thank you again for making this such a special day for me. I am truly honored that you chose me for this day's thread.
