I don't really want to speculate, however, giving the proximity of the discovery, approximately 35 mi SE of where the little girl was taken, this does not look good....
And I agree with your statement.

It's hard to believe that someone would kidnap a little girl and kill her so quickly.I remember reading that the majority of children kidnapped by strangers are killed within three hours of being taken, sadly.

You have a point, but if there is any chance these children can be found alive, they can broadcast 24/7.
Also, when the public realizes how prevalent this is getting to be, they will be up in arms to do everything possible to get these people behind bars where they belong. The courts are far too lenient on sex offenders.
First offenders you can't do much about. I'm really fed up with these perverts.

All of the recent abductions have been quite depressing/SCARY to say the least. Do you think it's a case of more abductions lately or are they just making the news more?
That is a really good question. We will have to wait for the stats to comeout on kidnaps. Right now I believe it is the news corps who need news making this more then it is. They have a long history of playing games like this with the public and crime. Whatever it takes to make a buck.

Now being report the body was found very close to the Orange County Riverside / County border.

behind bars where they belongIt's high time we convict and hang these type of killers in public and I don't mean after 20 years of appeals.
Courthouse to street is good enough for me!

That's my gut reaction, but we have to make sure they get the right person. There didn't used to be as much of this people wouldn't stand for it.

Make sure it's the guilty party.
Then, burning at the stake would be about right.

I said this morning that maybe we need to stop publicizing these kidnappings so much. I think that the press coverage is causing these child snatchings to multiply, and it doesn't seem to help to find the children.
No choice, the word must get out ASAP. These types of abductions have been going on for years. With things like the Amber alerts and people like those at the Laura Recovery Center the technology is being used to move help LEO's move more quickly than ever. And then to organize and find the kids quicker. Even still, too many sad stories.
Anyone caught hurting a child should be locked away. Especially the sexual devoids. And if they are released, they should be tatooed bright red on the face and hands. At least give the kids a chance to see them coming.

Our city has a 7 yr old child missing since early May.....her stepfather walked her to school...she never made it thru the door...She's still missing...*sigh*.....Shame on these people that mess with small children...It's a crying shame.....I pray daily for her safe return, and can't imagine what these parents are going thru....
To: Aliska
It really doesn't matter who's 5 year old body was found, someone killed a 5-year old child!

This makes me want
lo-jack (?sp) for my child.
It seems that if you don't find them quickly (< 24 Hrs) the news will not be good...
The news coverage for the last two abductions has seemed almost fake... Maybe 'fake' isn't the right word.
Maybe 'managed' is what I'm looking for.

It's hard to believe that someone would kidnap a little girl and kill her so quickly. The average kidnapping victim dies within the first hour. Maybe them biblical folks were on to something when they put the punishment for kidnapping right there with the punishment for murder.

It's just to bad, all of the corrupt lawyers and have gotton in the way.
No being reported as they found the body near Ortega HYW...Investigators are not confirming that this is Samantha......

I hate to say this, but this is where the 'totalitarian' societies have us beat. They do *not* put up with this kind of thing. At all. And I respect them for that, at least.
