The time to fix the mistakes you've made is as soon as possible--not at the end when the people you've affected are dead or no longer near you.

I agree, and there's nothing amusing about it, call it what you will. Where we can make amends, we should. The problem is that some of our 'mistakes' simply cannot be 'fixed', particularly when it comes to our own transgressions against the infinite, holy God. As we do not generally know the hour of our death, now is the time for repentence.
