Should I have viewed Pearl's death?

That would be much easier to take. Justice and vengeance can be rewarding at times.

More searingly than a thousand words, the quickie pornography of Pearl's end (the execution lasts less than 30 seconds) indelibly demonstrates the savagery, irrationality and mercilessness of this Islamo-fascist enemy.

Yes, it should be watched. And Mr. Pearl's wife and child should be remembered while watching it. It will sear the mind.

And those memories should be kept close at hand when a certain loathsome cult is considered.

I saw the beheading of the Russian soldier as well.
It has to be the most hideous thing I've ever seen.
It really makes me appreciate being an American and

I could not bring myself to watch it. I have seen enough horror in my lifetime, I don't want to see any more. Just knowing what these people are capable of makes my contempt and yes, hatred, for them complete, it could not be any worse. I hope his wife and son never see it, just knowing what happened to their loved one must be unbearable for them. I hope these hatred-filled terrorists burn in hell forever.

The real photos and videos of the twin towers should be on the web as well. And in the movies. And on cable. And on the networks.

We are confronting the most diabolical evil. It must be exposed to the light. Still, most Western intellectuals in academia say 'evil' doesn't even exist.

America is profoundly asleep. Drugged by wealth, a mind-numbing media and giddy excesses. Freepers and their counterparts scattered around the republic are an anomaly, a minority of the populace. This is a terrible acknowledgement: Would another 9/11 wake us up? Really up?

I haven't seen it. I dont want to. I came across a few vids from there death stadium (the soccer stadium) It was a fairly bad video of the tali ban cutting off women heads, some all the way and some left half way on and just bending back the head to open the wound - with there I assume families watching sitting next to the victim on the ground.

I have no desire in seeing more of this stuff but I do think people that can handle it need to see it.

"My Favorite Headache" posted a link that had both the video of Daniel Pearl, and an unfortunate Russian soldier last night. I watched both and walked away from the computer feeling guilty yet justified in my previous self knowledge that I could wipe these people off the face of the earth like cockroaches and my conscience would not even twinge.

For some reason, they are no more than bugs to me to be swatted dead like a pesty fly. That fact bothered me, that I cannot summon enough "whatever" for them to raise them to the nobility of being an enemy. After viewing these videos I'm not bothered by my disdain for their humanity anymore. As far as I am concerned they have thrown down their humanity, they are nothing to me but brute beasts made to be taken and slaughtered, no more, no less. I certainly will not offer them the nobility of calling them an enemy, they are no more than a plague of locust, soon to be removed.

The last I recall hearing from the most French Mrs. Pearl, she was still repeating some line about understanding other cultures and being compassionate yadayadayada. I simply cannot relate to that attitude; IMO, she lives in a dream world if she still feels that way. I would want just revenge, as well.

I went to the site where the link to the video is. I thought about it, but could not do it. I am afraid I would be so full of rage that I would not be able to sleep at night.
