What's this obsession with having an agenda? >EVERYONE< has an agenda. It seems that the only agendas that are upsetting are the ones that point out the incongruencies and paradoxes in the Pakistani stance.

And the arabmuslims and their slavish lapdogs, the Pakistanis, don't have an agenda? Every article (with some notable exceptions) from the arabpakistani press lays out a noxious agenda. What's wrong with combatting the hate of the islamis for all of us.

Still, apart from the Unocal issues, what is so "crappy" about this article. Seems a very well reasoned and thoughtfully laid out analysis.

How do you call this guy lazy. Seems he's done more research and has more knowledge than all of our liberal apologists for Pakistan, including the arab and islamic worshipping bureacrats in our state department.

You posted this as a news story. If it's an editorial, then it's fine for the writer to make all these unsubstantiated statements, even thought they're wrong.

I already told you other things that are wrong with this report. Where is the acknowledgment of the arrests of key al-Qaida terrorists in Pakistan? Why didn't this lazy reporter bother to check to see if the Unocal pipeline story was nothing more than a rehash of old speculation?

Where are the facts that show the army is defying Musharraf?

I'm not going to apologize for analyzing stories here in an effort to determine the bias of the writer. That's a key function of this forum.
